5 FEATURES, 5 WINNERS AS FAYETTEVILLE RETURNS TO ACTION

Shaun Harrell, Jerry Johnson Jr., Jordan Taylor, Ron Pope and Daniel Johnson all earned trips to Victory Lane on Saturday night as Fayetteville Motor Speedway's season resumed.

The five classes of the Bell & Bell Vintage Modified Series were also in action.

Harrell captured the $1,500 top prize for the Budweiser Late Models, winning from the pole position over Willie Milliken. Timmy Blackwell took third, Brian Strickland charged from the 10th starting spot to claim fourth, and  Bradley Shampy grabbed fifth.

The $500-to-win special for the Renegades was claimed by Daniel Johnson, who also won from the pole. Rick Razillard earned the runner-up spot after rolling off sixth, Case Daniel finished third, Brandon Carter was fourth and Jeffrey Batten rounded out the top five in a 14-car main event.

In Stingerz action, Jerry Johnson Jr. showed the way from the pole position and parlayed that into a victory. Fifth-starting Kyle Jenks captured the runner-up spot ahead of Derek Kemper, Daniel Stephenson and Anthony Yarborough.

Also racing to victory from the pole was Jordan Taylor in SportsModz. He outran Josh Fields, A.J. Belanger, Mike Manes and Cameron Norris III.

Ron Pope returned to action to grab the checkered flag in the Sportsman ranks and was joined in the top three by Michael Freeman and David Royal. Polesitter Greg Cain took fourth and Jonathan Hardee finished fifth.

Action returns to the 4/10ths-mile dirt track Friday night, June 28, for the first of three "Friday Night Fights" shows; the others are July 19 and Sept. 13.
